About Me
Pretty much I am your average twenty-something woman. I love clothes, shoes, purses, manicures, pedicures, and anything else that can be classified as “girly.”
I have a son, Trystan, who was born on September 2, 2009. He is the most wonderful aspect of my life. I adore being a mommy. Of course, Trystan did not get here with just my influence, I had some help from the most wonderful man, Lance. He means the world to me and I could not imagine my life without him, nor do I want to.
I love watching movies and reading books. My favorite director is Quentin Tarantino. I love all of Jane Austen’s novels. I love her writing style. I also am a huge fan of the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. The entire Edward – Bella story is completely enthralling and inspiring.
Currently, I am employed in the Telecommunications field however, my dream is to write. I may not be good at it but I love it. I would love to be a published author, but I have a tiny fear of rejection. So hopefully by posting on here, I can overcome that rejection and get reactions to my writing.
By the way, the title of my site, Maybe We Are the Pieces, comes from one of my all time favorite movie quotes:
Norah: There’s this part of Judaism that I like. Tikun Olam. It said that the world is broken into pieces and everyone has to find them and put them back together.
Nick: Maybe we don’t have to find it. Maybe we are the pieces.
(From Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist)
